Sarah K Danielsson, Professor of History – her home campus is Queenborough and she has taught at the Graduate Center. She has published monographs and edited volumes on intellectual history, histories of mass violence and genocide. Her research and teaching interests include, modern European intellectual history, history of nationalism and the nation-states, history of genocide and human rights, history of geography/historical geography, modern central European history, trans-national history, history of ideas. She has organized a number of conferences and lectures and has received funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the DAAD, among others. Damaris-Lois Yamoah Lang

AWARDS DIRECTOR AND VICE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Dr.  Lang has over seventeen years of experience in higher education and work as a full-time faculty at The City University Of New York – Hostos CC, in the Natural Sciences Department. She is the program coordinator for both the Liberal Arts and Science A.S. degree and Science for Forensic Science dual degree programs. She also serves as a member on the board of the Youth Council at Hastings-On-Hudson. Dr. Lang’s research interests include paternal behaviors – focusing on external inputs that influence the development of paternal care and the brain areas involved in the process – using the monogamous prairie vole species, Microtus ochrogaster. Her other research interests are in understanding sensory pathways and learning – focusing on how physiological and experiential inputs influence content understanding and retention of academic content in humans – and the brain areas involved in the process. Outside academia, Dr. Lang hold forums on science and faith. Ria Banerjee

Ria Banerjee

BUDGET DIRECTOR

Ria Banerjee is an Assistant Professor of English at Guttman Community College, CUNY. Her scholarly interests are in British and European modernism and post-World War II film. She has previously published on T. S. Eliot and Virginia Woolf, and is currently at work on a monograph on spatiality in interwar British fiction. She teaches undergraduate courses in developmental writing and literature, and graduate film courses with the Film Studies Certificate Program of the Graduate Center, CUNY.
