Lane Cooper Fellowship 2021-2022

The Lane Cooper fellowship provides a scholarship grant of $20,000 to a graduate student enrolled during the 2020-2021 academic year at CUNY. The student can be an MA or a PhD student with little or no financial support for graduate studies. The award is for an aspiring college or university professor in the humanities who is of “superior character, attainments and promise.” The awardee must be in the following subject areas: “the study of: (a) Greek; (b) Latin; (c) English language and literature, especially in the periods of Old and Middle English; and (d) Philosophy and History, including both ancient and medieval.” You can download the nomination form and instructions here.  2020-2021 Lane Cooper Awardee, Katrina Moore
